Ca'n Sureda
Grade A listed townhouse: two years of work without touching a single facade moulding.
Pollença, old town
01 The brief
A fully protected building in the centre of Pollença, split into three flats since the 1970s. The brief was to return it to a single family house with two rental apartments at ground level, keeping the entire schedule of protected elements intact.

02 The intervention
Work was organised from the central courtyard: recovered as a single void, it returns light and ventilation to all three bays and resolves vertical circulation with a free-standing lift that never touches the historic floors. Coffered ceilings were consolidated piece by piece with injected epoxy; 82% of the original timber remains in place. Services run in a continuous technical skirting 40 cm above the floor — accessible and fully reversible.
